What Is Health Coaching?
Health coaching focuses on looking at a natural and holistic approach to looking at health and well-being.
It identifies patterns in lifestyle and behaviour that are keeping you on a cycle that is failing to optimise your full health and well-being potential.
Work with clients to identify a roadmap of change to address those areas of their life that they are unhappy with.
Leads to sustainable, positive long-lasting changes in lifestyle, mental and physical well-being.
My Approach
I offer 6-8 one on one sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis taking a structured, supported approach using effective methods to identify barriers to happiness and better health and well-being. Sessions are confidential, non-judgemental and a safe space to work through things in a measured, timely way.
Group sessions are also available to generate discussion and learning on the common problems of modern life such as stress, disease, weight management, lack of sleep, food, the menopause, exercise and relationships.

Schedule a free session to get a better understanding of what health coaching is and whether it is right for you.
Choose a Coaching Plan
There is an initial longer consultation where we go through your health history then agree a coaching plan.
Weekly or fortnightly sessions are then set at a date and time that is convenient for you.
Reach Your Goals
At different points throughout the sessions we revisit your goals and map where you have come on your journey to reaching your goals.
Your progress is charted using tried and tested methods which reinforce the positive changes you are making.
6 Week Coaching Package
Following an initial appointment to go through your health history I will work with you in subsequent sessions to set goals and develop an achievable plan.
Additional sessions can be arranged if required.

8 Week Coaching Package
For those individuals that would like a longer period of working one on one to achieve positive behavioural change through education, support and encouragement.
As above, additional sessions can be arranged upon request.

Group Sessions
Group talks and workshops can be arranged in person or online and can cover topics such as weight management, basic detoxing, stress, the benefits of exercise and eating a healthier diet.

I’m a woman in my late 40’s, feeling a bit frumpy, a little down and really really tired. I work hard, have a stressful job, manage a lot of the day to day activities in our family. I wasn’t able to understand how to get my motivation back.
My session with Elaine opened my eyes to a lot of the issues that were impacting my life and making me feel miserable. During the session Elaine listened carefully to me, understanding how I was feeling and asking questions that I probably hadn’t asked myself. This enabled me to understand and prioritise issues in a logical order, and this order was completely different from where I started.
Following the session I’ve made some big changes to my daily routine, I joined the gym! I go at least 4 times a week now and this is definetly helping my self esteem, confidence and most of all my mental heath and well being. I’ve also
made some changes to my diet which is had really helped with my menopause symptoms.
I have also had the confidence to have direct and open conversations with my partner which has enabled me to make changes in our relationship for the better. This is a work in progress but the session with Elaine allowed me to be prepared for those difficult conversations
My goal was to change a few things in life that would help me to get fitter, eat healthier, lose a little weight and be more aware of how I live my life.
I tried to get this done on my own, but it seems that I just wasn’t able to find the right way or combination to make this change.
Elaine helped me to analyse my current habits and way of life, and after that we looked together about where we could find alternatives and/or new insights that would help me to reach the goals I mentioned above.
Then Elaine made an action plan, and explained in a clear way the advised steps. When we went through it, I was surprised how well Elaine was able to make a plan that would help me to work on my physical and mental health in a realistic way. This combination made it easy for me because I wasn’t just follow a “plan”, but actually change things for the better and feel great about it.
Now, a few months later, I feel much fitter, eat better and have a lot of energy. I would absolutely recommend Holihealth to improve your life!
I am 52 years of age and booked Elaine’s health and wellbeing sessions earlier this year. I am a busy, working mum of 2 and a wife.
I have found the sessions to be extremely beneficial as I had lost focus and purpose and had not set myself any goals for a number of years. I had allowed my fitness to decline and procrastinated often when looking to improve not only my fitness but my mental health.
Through guidance and advice from Elaine I have found purpose again and set myself fitness goals as well as personal goals to allow me to be the best version of myself. Due to this change in mindset I have found that I am much more focused and determind to succeed in achieving my goals in my fitness and improve my overall health and well-being. It has also made me feel much more self-assured in myself and encouraged me to be more confident in my abilities and step outside my comfort zone.
I am more aware of the importance of eating well, exercise and believing in yourself and setting goals I attribute this to the sessions and all the great advice and encouragement provided by Elaine throughout this period.
Even the challenging conversations where you need to dig deep really made me think the importance of putting yourself first sometimes as you can lose perspective as you go on life and forget how important this is.
